Visual HTMX builder

Free HTMX from its chains.

Lay out real HTML screens, attach the requests that update them, and export a site that is still just HTML, CSS, and HTMX — no frontend framework in the download.

What it does

Build the page

Pick HTML tags and ready-made blocks — headers, forms, lists, tables — and place them on a screen. Add more screens when the flow needs another page.

Wire HTMX

Select an element and set hx-get, hx-post, hx-target, and hx-swap. Connect screens so a click can open the next one.

Take it with you

Preview the result, then export a ZIP: HTML screens, SCSS, compiled CSS, an example server, and a README. The project auto-saves in this browser, and you can save or load it from Google Drive.

How it works

  1. 1

Open a screen and add HTML

The builder starts you on a screen. Click a tag or a quick block in the side panel and it lands on the canvas. Switch screens from the menu at the top of that panel.

  2. 2

Tell each element what to request

Select something on the canvas. In Properties, fill in the HTMX attributes your backend should answer. When a control should show another screen, connect the two screens instead of hard-coding a URL.

  3. 3

    Preview, then export

Preview runs the screen as a page. Export ZIP packages the screens and styles plus a small example backend that returns HTML fragments. Host the static files anywhere, and point hx-* URLs at your API.
